Eating Vegetables for a Young Brain

The Power of vegetable is exceedingly great!

Did you know that it can keep your brain young?

Age is not about years it’s about how we eat.

Studies show that people over the age of 60 who eat more than two servings of vegetables a day had a 40 per cent slower rate of cognitive decline than those who eat one serving or less.

Green, leafy vegetables such as callaloo, pak choi, cabbage, and lettuce are the most effective. They are all rich in vitamin E, a potent compound that fights that fights the oxidative stress and inflammation that age the brain. Adding olive oil is even better because fat helps the body better absorb vitamin E.
