Pioneer’s Award
I was awarded the Pioneer’s Award, for recognition of Outstanding and Devoted service. Presented by the Jamaica Psychiatric Association, and the Ministry of Health in December 2023.
Presidential Award
I was an awardee for the Presidential award for 15 years of Professional Support to Choose Life International and over 50 years of Mental Health Service to Jamaica. Presented by the Choose Life on its 15th anniversary in October 2023.
Volunteer Award
At the” Choose Life International 10th Anniversary Banquet ” held on October 27, 2018. I was one of the recipients of a Volunteer Award for invaluable technical and professional guidance.

Outlook Planning Workshop
Participant at The Outlook on Christian Global Health Movement Course Workshop. Wheaton, Chicago, Illinois. A course to educate and mobilize the church to bring healing to the nations. Sponsored by the Centre for Healing in Mission held in June 2018.

I submitted a paper entitled: “Caring for the Whole Person by Healthcare and Religious Institutions: The Divide and the Possibilities”.

For this their 8th year, Choose Life International (CLI) along with its partners hosted their annual World Suicide Prevention Day Seminar on September 9, 2017 under the theme: “Take a Minute, Change a Life.”.
Dr. E. Anthony Allen presented on the topic: ” Surviving Changes in a Difficult Economic Climate”.
UTCWI Founders' Day Celebrations

The United Theological College of the West Indies (UTCWI) presented their Founders’ Day 2017 Celebrations on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 .
Dr. Allen was the Lecturer and a participant in the Panel Discussion on the subject:
“Back to the Centre – Implications for handling Power, Sex and Money”
This year the UTCWI is celebrating its 51st year as an ecumenical theological institution, training and forming ministers for service in the Caribbean.
Mental Health Symposium
September 24, 2016
Mental Health problems are common within the Caribbean and are listed among the major Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases that account for the majority of deaths in the Caribbean.
Dr. Allen was one of the presenters at the Mental Health Symposium held at the Micro University College on Saturday, September 24, 2016.

His presentation was focused on how Spirituality promotes Mental Health.
